Good afternoon, CMCSS families,

To streamline the mask requirement opt-out process for parents/guardians and minimize the paperwork burden on employees, the Technology Department will be sending an electronic form to parents/guardians via text and email. Parents who do not want to opt out their child from the mask requirement will not need to complete the form.

Please note the opt-out will be on file through the remainder of the school year and will be in effect for the entirety of the face mask requirement.

Staff is working diligently to program and test this electronic form so that it will automatically upload to a student’s record. The form will be sent to parents/guardians no later than tomorrow afternoon. Please use the electronic form when it is sent and do not submit an alternative form. The District will provide further instructions for those who have difficulty accessing the electronic form.
