Middle College
Middle College is a unique collaborative program between the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and Austin Peay State University that enables junior and senior high school students to obtain a high school education while concurrently receiving direct and invaluable access to free college courses. Middle College was designated as a 2023 National Blue Ribbon School.
Admission Requirements
• Clarksville-Montgomery County resident
• Currently enrolled as a CMCSS student
• 2.85 GPA or 19 ACT composite score
• Maturity for the college environment
• Good attendance and behavior
• On track to graduate
Potential Middle College students may be characterized by any of these characteristics:
• Seeks intellectual stimulation
• Desires a more mature learning environment
• Demonstrates the development to cope with the challenges and relative freedom of a college campus
• Values the importance of education, but does not necessarily desire the extra-curricular activities or athletics of a traditional high school
