Students impacted at the five high schools will have the option to remain at their current school but will have to provide their own transportation. Students at four middle schools and three elementary schools will be affected by the zoning changes and will not have the option to remain. Students at West Creek Middle will have the option of remaining within their current school zone due to the number of previous rezonings they have experienced.
Due to the August 2012 opening of Carmel Elementary School, elementary students affected will be rezoned from Barksdale, East Montgomery and Sango.
