Jennifer Menees has been selected as Assistant Principal for Glenellen Elementary School for the upcoming school year. She replaces Loralee BeCraft, who was named Principal of Montgomery Central Elementary.
Menees has taught for 12 years in the CMCSS in several grade levels. Most recently, she has served at Rossview Elementary, where she was on the Leadership Team and served as the district Math Lead for fourth grade. She participated in the Aspiring Administrators program in 2012-13. She was recognized as Teacher of the Year at both Rossview and when she served as a teacher at Sango Elementary. She is a Google Certified Teacher Levels 1 and 2, and a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator.
She earned her M.A. of Education in Educational Leadership from Austin Peay State University and an M.A. of Education in Curriculum and Instruction at Austin Peay. She earned her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies K-8
