New Pisgah Principal Named

Sallie R. Oden has been named principal of the new Pisgah Elementary School when it opens in August 2013. Mrs. Oden currently is principal at Kenwood Elementary where she has served since 2008.
Mrs. Oden also has served as an administrator at Ringgold, Glenellen and Northeast Elementary schools. She earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from Austin Peay State University and received her bachelor’s degree from North Georgia College. She has teaching experience at Hazelwood and Woodlawn Elementary and at schools in Kentucky and Georgia.
Mrs. Oden will begin her work in January.
