Inclement Weather Makeup Plan for 2016-17 School Year

The following Inclement Weather Makeup Plan was approved by the CMCSS School Board at their July 19, 2016 Formal Meeting.
1. The first five days missed by students will not be made up and will come from stockpiled student days*
2. The sixth day missed and subsequent days will be made up as available:
a. January 3, 2016 (staff development day)
b. Early release day on February 17 will be converted to a full day with thirty minutes added to eight additional school days to equal one day.
c. February 20, 2016 (Presidents Day)
d. Thirty minutes added to thirteen days not to infringe upon the state testing window to account for one make up day
3. Make up for days missed beyond this plan will be determined as circumstances require.
* This make up plan applies to missed student days. Teachers will be allowed three days missed due to inclement weather without making them up.
