Northrop Grumman and the Northrop Grumman Foundation support diverse and sustainable programs for students and teachers. These programs create innovative education experiences in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The Foundation provides funding to STEM programs that span from preschool to high school and through collegiate levels, with a major emphasis on middle school students and teachers. In order to stimulate student interest in STEM education, the Northrop Grumman Foundation launched Fab School Labs – a nationwide contest allowing public middle schools in the United States to enter to win five grants valued at up to $100,000 each for a science, technology, or engineering lab or classroom makeover.
