CMCSS district leaders continue to address the intermittent outages and technology concerns of our CMCSS K-12 Virtual students. The Technology and Instruction departments are actively seeking solutions that are within our control.
Technical issues with third-party vendors have caused district-wide delays. To understand the technical complications, please read more here.
Ultimately, the focus of CMCSS district leaders is to ensure every child can log on and have a connection with their teacher in an engaging educational environment. Our team will not stop working until this becomes a reality for 100% of our CMCSS K-12 Virtual students.
Families, rest assured your CMCSS K-12 Virtual student will not be counted absent during this time.
Parents/Guardians, if you are experiencing connection issues, reach out to your child’s school. Teachers will work with parents to provide solutions for students to have access to educational resources.
Teachers are unable to assist parents with technical issues while classes are in session. Please reach out to the helpline with any questions or assistance you may need.
Families should continue to follow our troubleshooting guidance: https://bit.ly/34A2vSv, utilize Live Assist available at https://bit.ly/2EINenL, call the Help Hotline at 931-920-7779, and put in work orders for issues surrounding Google applications, sound/microphones, WiFi connections, and ClassLink.
We continue to ask for your partnership, patience, and understanding. Right now, this situation is frustrating. However, it is merely a hurdle we will overcome together.
