Although the USDA has approved for the district to continue providing free meals to students, the CMCSS Child Nutrition Department urges you to fill out the Free and Reduced Meals Application if you believe your child is eligible.

Our district offers parents the ability to access an online Free and Reduced Meals application. The online application is the preferred method as it allows for a contact-free, secure application environment, and faster processing and approval. Online applications are available at schoolcafe.com, and paper applications are available in the front office of your child’s school or at Central Services Gracey.

Completing this application will ensure that the proper eligibility is in place when the program ends, guaranteeing there is no gap in benefits for a family approved for free or reduced meals. This application is tied to other vital aspects of your child’s education.
