CMCSS Hosts December Hiring Event with Multiple Positions

The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System will host a hiring event on December 4 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. for certified and classified positions. Attendees who pre-submit their application for review on cmcss.net/employment could be eligible to interview and potentially receive same-day offers. Attendees are encouraged but not required to submit applications before the event.
Interested candidates should review the careers available on cmcss.net/employment and submit an application before November 28. Those pursuing an alternative teaching license and already possessing a four-year degree are welcome to apply. To learn more about alternative licensure, visit this page. Temporary teaching permits are available to anyone holding a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution. The undergraduate degree does not have to be in education to meet permit requirements. Candidates can begin onboarding immediately.
The hiring event will be held at Central Services South, 1312 Highway 48, Clarksville. Principals and department supervisors with open positions will be on-site to meet potential candidates. The CMCSS Human Resources team can assist with application support and answer questions regarding alternative licensure options.
High-needs positions in the District include classroom teachers, special education teachers, career and technical education teachers, custodians, and educational assistants.
Educational Assistants support regular education teachers with classroom instruction, individualized instruction, checking students’ work under the direction of the teacher, sorting, filing, and participating in planning and collaborative sessions with the assigned classroom educators. This position does not require a four-year degree.
