Roshae Harrison has been selected as the principal of Rossview Elementary School, beginning in January 2024. She will be replacing Frances Ann Camp who was selected as the principal of Kirkwood Elementary School. Harrison has been an assistant principal at Rossview Elementary since 2018. She has almost a decade of experience in administration, also serving for four years as an assistant principal at Montgomery Central Elementary School. She began her career with CMCSS in 2003 as a teacher, and has taught fourth and fifth grades at Hazelwood, Barkers Mill, and Rossview elementary schools. Harrison won the Green Apple Award in 2007 and was named a Distinguished Classroom Teacher in 2010 and 2015, being named a District finalist in 2015. She has served in numerous school, district, and state-level curriculum writing, instruction, and professional development leadership roles. Harrison earned her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University and B.S. in Learning Foundations from Union University. She completed the CMCSS Aspiring Administrators Academy, CMCSS Advanced Leadership Training for Assistant Principals, and the CMCSS Leadership Development Class Series.
