The Point of Pride celebration ended with a special recognition. It was the last school board meeting for Ms. Margaret Pace and Mr. Charlie Patterson.

Ms. Pace has served two terms on the school board spanning an eight-year period. She has also been a foundational member of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System as a long-standing employee. Ms. Pace has been a teacher, mentor, administrator, district office member, and even served as interim Director of Schools. She can often be found at events throughout the district cheering on our faculty, staff, and students. Ms. Pace, thank you for your decades of service.

Mr. Patterson has served three terms on the school board for a total of twelve years. As a family member to educators in the district, Mr. Patterson has been vocal about supporting teachers. His focus on providing work/life balance for employees and teacher retention has made a meaningful impact for the district. You can often find Mr. Patterson throughout Montgomery County cheering on his grandchildren at sporting events. Mr. Patterson, thank you for your years of service.

The district provided Ms. Pace and Mr. Patterson with official lifetime passes to attend all events within CMCSS.
