Employee Assistance Program
CMCSS employees and their household members can receive up to 3 free counseling sessions per year per issue. Enrollment in the CMCSS medical plan is not required.
GuidanceResources® is a confidential, free benefit provided by Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, offering short-term counseling as well as information and resources on emotional, financial, legal, family and work-life issues. To access these complimentary, confidential services, call 800-964-3577.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Coverage
Beginning September 1, 2023, mental health visits will be covered the same as medical visits. Prior authorization may be required.
For covered services, including office exams and consultations (diagnosis and treatment of illness or injury, including medical and behavioral health conditions):
- Benefits for Covered Services received from Network Providers: 90% after Deductible
- Benefits for Covered Services received from Out-of-Network Providers: 70% of the Maximum Allowable Charge after Deductible
Onsite Employee Health and Wellness Counselors
Employees can reach out to the professionals at Onsite Employee Health and Wellness. These services are free for CMCSS and County employees and dependents with Clarksville-Montgomery County Insurance Trust with BCBS. Two full-time counselors are able to assist with life events such as:

- Time Management
- Wellness/Healthy Living
- Women’s Issues
- Work/Life Balance

In-person and telehealth appointments are available. The first session is 45 minutes, follow-up appointments are 30 minutes.
