All County Choir Postponed

Update regarding the All County Choir scheduled for February 20-21: The organizers of this event will reschedule the event due to this week’s weather. Music teachers of the participating schools will be informed once the new date has been confirmed. Vaughn Named Elementary Curriculum Lead, Hedrick Takes Over as Sango Principal

Emily Vaughn has been named elementary and middle schools director of curriculum and instruction for CMCSS, replacing Sallie Armstrong who is retiring this school year.  Mrs. Vaughn, who has served as principal at Sango Elementary since 2009 and in assistant principalships at Moore Magnet and Montgomery Central Elementary Schools, joined CMCSS in 1998 as a classroom teacher.  She earned her master of arts in education, instructional leadership and her B.S. in interdisciplinary studies from Austin Peay State University.



City Saver Books on Sale 1/16-2/13

For the fifth consecutive year, the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and CMC Education Foundation have partnered together to sponsor the City Saver Education Funding Campaign that will run from Jan. 16 – Feb. 13, 2015. Last year’s campaign raised more than $200,000 for local schools and the Education Foundation.



Open Enrollment Available

Specific grade levels in 10 elementary schools and four middle schools are available for open enrollment for the 2017-18 school year now through Feb. 6. The School System has developed a limited open enrollment policy for students who wish to attend a school or program outside the area for which they are zoned.
