Grief Support
Children are not immune to grief, however, they may express grief in different ways. Understanding the grieving process of children and providing adequate grief support is important to CMCSS schools. Loss of life, natural disasters, military deployments, and health concerns weigh heavily on a student’s mind. Without proper healthy outlets, these struggles may manifest in academic trouble or social and emotional challenges.
